McGurk Effect Demo      Description

Inattention Blindness Demo  One of the stimuli in Simons & Chabris (1999). Gorillas in our midst: sustained inattentional blindness for dynamic events. Perception, 28, 1059-1074 -  based on earlier studies by Neisser and colleagues. Subjects were asked to monitor one of the teams of players by counting the number of passes they made. After about 45 seconds of performing this task, an unexpected event occurred. In all versions, many observers failed to see the change.
