Research Areas: International Economics, Macro/Money  and Development Economics Saqib Jafarey is a Reader in International Economics. His recent research has ranged from modelling  the role of money in economies with both adverse selection and moral hazard to the implications of imperfect credit markets for economic development . Recent publications appear in the Journal of Development Economics, Canadian Journal of Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic Theory and  Journal of Money, Credit and Banking
