Creates a window allowing GPS connected via serial ports to be detected and selected. Currently only allows connection to Garmin GPS.

public GPSConfigBox(Frame parentFrame)

Creates the dialogue box allowing raster transformation options to be specified.

Parameters:

parentFrame - Frame associated with this dialogue.

closedown

public void closedown()

Makes window invisible if requested to close down. Does not dispose of window, so it can be restored with the current settings.

closeGPS

public void closeGPS()

Closes communication with a live GUI selected GPS if it exists.

testGPS

public GPS testGPS()

Tests communication with a selected GPS, by opening it and then closing it. If conntection has been made without problems, will return link to the GPS, otherwise null.

Returns:

GPS selected by GUI or null if not available/selected.

openGPS

public GPS openGPS()

Opens communication with a live GUI selected GPS.

Returns:

GPS selected by GUI or null if not available/selected.

isGPSConnected

public boolean isGPSConnected()

Reports whether a live GPS connection is currently established.

Returns:

True if live connection to GPS.

actionPerformed

public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)

Responds to a button press by performing a scan for available GPS.
