An HTML friendly text pane with undo and redo facilities. Undo is mapped onto ctrl-z, redo onto ctrl-y.

Creates an editor pane with undo facility attached to ctrl-z and ctrl-y.

getEditorKitForContentType

public EditorKit getEditorKitForContentType(String type)

Sets the appropriate editor kit depending on the type that is specified. This version ensures that the text/plain type actually uses a styled editor kit. By doing so, we can ensure that text is word wrapped when displayed. It also allows more sophisticated formatting of text (e.g. coloured syntax highlighting).

Parameters:

type - Type of text content (text/plain; text/html; text/rtf).
