“You and your colleagues have done a splendid job.  I think you have chosen a level of exposition that is just right for many students and that your book will prove extremely useful to those who know some economics but not much about health care and those with the opposite background.” Victor Fuchs, Stanford University.

Nancy is an Associate of the UK Higher Education Academy’s Economics Network and is also the Chair of its Advisory Group.

Nancy led the establishment of Health Economics Education (HEe), launched in January 2008.  The aims of HEe are:

  • To encourage and support teaching and learning in health economics in UK universities.
  • To create a community of health economics teachers willing to share ideas, resources and expertise in health economics teaching.
  • To promote health economics to potential students.

HEe provides a website of teaching and learning resources in health economics, as well as running special sessions at health economics conferences, focusing on issues in health economics education.
