Miscellaneous

Antitrust Policy This is a US Site that looks at a range of antitrust policy issues and includes a merger simulation facility.

Antitrust Law and Economics Review This appears to be a one man band and therefore is largely oriented to the interests of its editor Charles Mueller

Essential Antitrust This is the antitrust centred page that is part of Ralph Nader's Essential Information citizen action site. As such it has a bit more of a campaigning edge than many of the others. This would be a good port of call for those interested in the current state of play on antitrust activity on Microsoft and Web browsers.

OECD Competition Policy Page They don't have any cases of their own to handle but they do publish cross country reviews of the current state of competition policy and give a list of their publications.

OECD International Regulation database  - a downloadable file containing details of the regulatory environment in 29 countries.

Fifa bid to save transfer fees

"Fifa, football's world governing body, has submitted its plans to the Commission aimed at persuading EU competition and sports officials not to abolish soccer's international transfer system. The Commission believes the current practice in the football industry of demanding a fee from the buying club when a player is under contract is an unacceptable restriction on a player's right to earn a living. Viviane Reding, the EUs Sport Commissioner, and Competition Commissioner Mario Monti argue that transfer fees restrict and/or distort competition in the sport's profession."
