HiDE v1.1

Produced for the InfoVis tutorial "Exploring Design Decisions for Effective Information Visualization", October 2009.

Standard version
  -To run on Windows, double-click HiDE.bat
  -To run on Mac/Linux run the HiDE.sh shell script (usually by changing to the correct directory and typing "sh HiDE.sh" into the terminal).

Tutorial version (for teaching)
  -GUI starts simple and adds more options as the tutorial progresses. Should be used with the tutorial material (http://www.gicentre.org/infovis/), which contains instructions on how to 'unlock' different parts of the interface
  -To run on Windows, double-click HiDE_tutorialEdition.bat
  -To run on Mac/Linux run the HiDE.sh shell script (usually by changing to the correct directory and typing "HiDE_tutorialEdition.sh" into the terminal).

When the application is running, press 'h' at any time to get a help screen.
