Constructor Detail

ProjectionEditBox

public ProjectionEditBox(Frame parentFrame,
                         Projection projection)
Creates the dialogue box allowing projection parameters to be edited.

Parameters:
parentFrame - Parent frame calling this window.
projection - Existing projection to edit. Can be null if not yet defined.
Method Detail

getProjection

public Projection getProjection()
Returns the projection details selected by user.

Returns:
New map projection details.

itemStateChanged

public void itemStateChanged(ItemEvent e)
Responds to a change in the projection selection and updates the GUI accordingly. Ensures that zone info can only be edited if the appropriate projection is selected.

Specified by:
itemStateChanged in interface ItemListener
Parameters:
e - Item event.

checkInput

public boolean checkInput()
Checks that zone values are valid. For example, UTM zone nubmers are between 1 and 60, zone letters between 'C' and 'X' excluding 'I' and 'O' and allowing 'Z' for polar regions. Only performs check if a projection that requires zone values has been selected.

Overrides:
checkInput in class JWDialogue
Returns:
True if zone values are valid.
