Accommodation

There are a number of nearby hotels, hostels and B&Bs.

Travelodge. There are several hotels from this chain in the area that are easy walking distance. Prebook rooms currently from £49.50, non refundable without breakfast. The closest is London Kings Cross Royal Scot closely followed by London Farringdon. There are two more that are easy to get to, which are London Kings Cross and London City Road.

Jurys Inn Islington. Should be able to book requesting the City University rate but this is still over £130 per night.

YMCA Barbican Hostel. Prices here are £34 for a twin room, £37 for a single room with a £25 key deposit. Note that bathrooms are shared between all rooms on the floor.

YHA at London St Pancras. This has beds to rent in dorm. style rooms. Also, for 3+ people sharing it has smaller rooms to share for groups traveling together.

Late Rooms. (Variable Prices) I am told by people in other research areas that this engine that searches some hotels is now quite a popular way to locate rooms.
