This has many hundreds of links to other websites of cultural organisations around the world, from both governmental and non-governmental international orgnaisations, through relevant national ministries to the websites of individualo arts and hertiage organisations and institutions across the world. There are also large number of links to policy and operational documents and guidance plus many original documents, together covering almost all aspects of cultural and heritage polucy and management.
This website was first established in 1995 by Patrick Boylan, then Head of Department and now Professor Emeritus of Heritage Policy and Management, and over the subsequent years it has been greatly expanded by him, with the assistance of staff colleagues, successive generations of students of the Department, and by very many others interested in the field.
