File Export and Import

The Generative Drafting workbench lets you export and import different types of files.
Note that these tasks, which deal with data exchange, are actually documented in (and therefore link to) the Data Exchange Interfaces User's Guide.

 
Exporting a CATDrawing Document's Data into a DXF or DWG File
Export the data contained in a CATDrawing document into a DXF file.
Importing a DXF or DWG File into a CATDrawing
Import or insert the 2D geometric data contained in a DXF or DWG file into a CATDrawing document. 
Exporting a CGM File
Export the data contained in a CATDrawing document into a CGM file.
Inserting a CGM File into a CATDrawing
Insert a CGM file into a CATDrawing document.
