XML and XSL

Course Outline
The course explores how the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) is used as an open standard for data exchange across platforms and systems. In addition to validating XML according to DTDs and schemas, and outputting XML to web and print using XSL (eXtensible Styling Language) stylesheets, you will learn about W3C and the DOM, internationalisation issues, XML databases, current software support and widely-used applications such as XHTML, SVG, RSS and MathML..
