Postgraduate Taught Masters Courses


MA Programme in Human Rights

Currently, there are eight taught MA degrees on which the Sociology Department at City University offers modules on human rights.

The MA in Human Rights and Social Change

The MA in International Communication and Human Rights

The MA in International Politics and Human Rights

The MA in Refugee Studies and Human Rights

The MA in Communities, Organisations and Social Change

The MA in Crime, Policing and Human Rights

Masters Degrees in the Law Department

Both the LLM in Human Rights and the LLM in International Law include as options the modules on the Sociology of Human Rights and on NGOs, Human Rights and the UN System. These degrees are primarily for applicants who already have an LLB.
